COURSE:   “MECHANICAL, BALLISTIC AND EXPLOSIVE BREACHING” ©

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

 

The objective of this course is to provide the student with the theory, concepts, principles and tactics for the safe use and deployment of mechanical, ballistic and explosive breaching.

  

CONTENT: 

- Mechanical, ballistic and explosive breaching tactics and protocols are presented, examined and discussed.

- Reasons and justifications for fail-safe breaching operations and training are presented, examined and discussed. 

- Breaching element duties, tasks and responsibilities are presented, examined and discussed. 

- Breaching tools, equipment and explosives materials are presented, examined and discussed. 

- Recognition, identification and use of breaching explosives are presented, examined and discussed.

- Breaching safety and safety measures are presented, examined and discussed. 

- Legal requirements for breaching operations and training are presented, examined and discussed. 

- Terms and communications are presented, examined and discussed. 

- Practical mechanical, ballistic and explosive breaching exercises are conducted and rehearsed.

- Supervision and management of mechanical, ballistic and explosive breaching is presented, examined and discussed.

 

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

The student is required to successfully complete the course work, research project and final assessment for certification by the USTRMC.

 

LENGTH OF COURSE:

The course is twenty-four (24) hours.

 

COST OF COURSE:                                  

The cost of this course is $350.00 (three hundred, fifty dollars).
